The Retirement Community

Tollendale Village
Tollendale Village has been thoughtfully planned and designed to create a secure and relaxed mature adult lifestyle community with ample opportunity to socialize with Christian friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere. A variety of services are also provided to allow residents to remain a part of the community as long as possible.

Tollendale Village is a Christian Seniors' Community developed by Simcoe County Christian Senior Home Inc (SSCSHI). SCCSHI is a Non-Profit Society whose express intent and mandate is to develop and operate an interdenominational Christian seniors' home in the Simcoe County area. The Society is membership based and currently has approximately 200 member families. The members elect the Board of Directors and are responsible for the governance of the Village.

The park-like setting of the Village, allow the private balconies and patios to overlook the treed valley of Lover's Creek, the courtyards, the landscaped green spaces or the gracious neighbouring estate community.

Twenty semi-detached garden homes, 4 three and four story apartment buildings, housing 264 one and two bedroom suites, offer ample living space in a variety of designs at a variety of prices.

Elevators take you down to the underground parking level as well as underground public walkways, which inter-connect the buildings with the Village Square. Here you can visit the dining room, the coffee shop, the hair stylist, the banking facility, the tuck shop, the library, craft & activity areas as well as a large community hall for social events and church services. Throughout the Village there are many other amenities including a woodworking shop, a shuffleboard and games room, a mini-putt room and various other amenities.

The final phase of Tollendale Village will be a licensed long term care nursing facility, staffed by multi-skilled caring individuals. Visit www.millcreekcarecentre.ca for more information.
